How Sarah Jessica Parker Stays In Shape

Known for her iconic role as Carrie Bradshaw from “Sex and the City,” Sarah Jessia Parker, reveals how she relates to Carrie to stay in shape. Parker is in love with living in New York City much like Carrie and her favorite thing to do is walk around the city.

You may not know this but before acting, Parker was active in dancing and performing on Broadway.
She performed in Broadway smash hits including The Innocents (1976) and followed with The Sound of Music for several years. Her first major role on Broadway was when she was cast for one of the title roles in Annie from 1979-1980.

Parker was also studied dance at the American Ballet Theater and started to gain national attention in the 80s. Parker starred in the 1985 movie “Girls Just Wanna Have Fun” that was all about dancing and the aerobics craze of the 80s.

Though she likes to take walks she also likes to stay in shape doing pilates and prefers swimming over jogging. Parker likes to relax and decompress by reading a book.

She likes to indulge in her diet with her favorite drink being Coca-Cola, her favorite dessert is her sister’s chocolate brownies, and prefers milk chocolate over dark chocolate. Parker’s favorite dish is roasted chicken with parsley and she loves pizza with sausage, peppers, and onions.
