Already Thinking of Breaking That New Years Resolution for a Healthier You?

Just because everyone else drops resolutions doesn’t mean you have to.

We have all done it before, in this dimension or another. The one resolution to yourself that either seems impossible, or just hard as heck, only a few days in to the new year. Whether it is the once in a lifetime opportunity to meet the one person you’ve always wanted to meet or a mini-Snickers bar you found in the crevices of your sofa, temptation is inevitable. However, there are a few strategies you can try to make some of those ‘impossible’ resolutions stick.

It should be without second thought, eating healthier should be your number one priority if becoming healthier is this year’s resolution. If you don’t mind investing a Jefferson or two a week, meal-kit delivery services are a great way to eat healthier and not have to go out of your way to buy groceries you’d otherwise wouldn’t.

Exercising more should be another high priority resolution this year. I’m going to be honest, there is no magic delivery service for this one, but if you’re serious about becoming healthier, there still are a few tips to stay on top of your workouts. One of the best ways to motivate yourself is to find a workout partner. Use each other for motivation as well as to spot during more intense workouts. You can also sign up for challenges or classes and pay in advance as a motivation for you to go (unless you’re filthy rich and don’t really care about throwing money away).

Whatever strategy you choose to stay on top of your game, make it convenient for yourself, and it doesn’t hurt to make it fun.
