Recall On Fresh Vegetables Over Listeria Risk

There is a recall alert on packaged fresh vegetables, Wendy King of USA Radio Networks reveals more you need to know about this recall and what to look for. King says that Growers Express revealed that recall products include packaged varieties of butternut squash, cauliflower, zucchini, and butternut squash veggie bowl for possible listeria contamination.

The products came from a Growers Express facility in Biddeford, Maine all were sold under the brands including Green Giant Fresh, Growers Express, Signature Farms, and Trader Joe’s. This listeria bacteria contamination can lead to more cases of listeriosis that can cause a serious bacterial infection after eating contaminated food.
